Uchegbulam, Chris Green, Aminu Kurfi Lead ‘Rebel’ FA Chairmen For NFF Parley
Vastly experienced Imo State FA Chairman Amanzi Uchegbulam, Chris Green of Rivers State and Katsina State FA boss Aminu Kurfi Balele (PICTURED) aka Dan Arewa are among the representatives of the State FA Chairmen who have confronted the NFF leadership demanding for the vacation of a court order and a General Assembly to prepare grounds for an elective Congress.
The FA Chairmen will meet with NFF designated officials – Chairman of Chairmen Ibrahim Gusau and General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi – after embattled President Amaju Pinnick refused to personally meet with them after he described them as not being loyal even after he has carried them along in his administration.
The meeting with the NFF is to find a way forward to the impasse caused by an exparte order which has prevented the NFF as a body to meet since December 2021.
The FA Chairmen on their part have failed in an attempt to get the case at the Federal High Court in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, vacated.
