Sanusi, Abba Yola Join Race To Succeed Pinnick As NFF President

NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi and the Chief of Staff to the Sports Minister Abba Yola (PICTURED) have indicated interest for the NFF Presidency.

Former Kano Pillars Chairman Yola has already contested for the top post in September 2014, when Pinnick was first elected in Warri.

He scored 0 votes.

“Both Sanusi and Abba Yola have variously indicated interest to be the next NFF President, but they are yet to declare for the position,” a top source told www.insideglasshouse.com

The race to succeed Pinnick is proving to be an all-comers affair as various Stakeholders from NFF Executive Members, State FA Chairmen, ex-internationals and secretariat staffers have thrown their hat in the ring.

According to the NFF Statutes, the much-awaited polls are slated for September 30, 2022.
