‘Pinnick Must Go’ Protest Hits Benin City

The train of protests against the corrupt and disastrous administration of NFF President Amaju Pinnick has hit the ancient city of Benin.

Top Players’ Union chieftains led by Harrison Jalla again marched peacefully through the streets of Benin Monday demanding for the resignation of Pinnick and his Executive Committee because the fortunes of Nigeria Football have taken a turn for the worse under their watch.

The activists restated their resolve to oust Pinnick and his executives to allow for better tidings for the country’s No 1 sport.

“As critical stakeholders, we will not tire to register our utmost disapproval against Pinnick and his Board,” one of the protesters vowed.

Similar protests have already been staged in the capital city of Abuja as well as Lagos.
