Task Force Leads Protest Demanding Pinnick, NFF Board Quit After World Cup Disaster

A Project 2022 Task Force will tomorrow stage a peaceful protest march in Abuja demanding for President Amaju Pinnick and the entire NFF Executive Committee to resign after the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The pains caused by the failure to qualify for Qatar 2022 were worsened by the ugly riot by the fans at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja immediately after the 1-1 draw with Ghana.
A press statement obtained by www.insideglasshouse.com said that the protest march will start from the Sports Ministry office at the Federal Secretariat in the Central Area in Abuja and terminate at the Unity Fountain in Maitama District.
It was further gathered that this is only “a warning strike” as a bigger protest against the shambolic manner the NFF have been running the national sport.
The organisers have received approval from the Nigerian Police to stage this peaceful protest.
Both Pinnick and his Executives have insisted they will not throw in the towel despite the many setbacks that have befallen Nigeria Football under their watch in the last eight years.
