NFF Should Dissolve Themselves After World Cup Failure – Fanny Amun
Former General Secretary of the NFF Fanny Amun (PICTURED) has asked the football federation to “dissolve themselves” after they disbanded the Super Eagles technical crew following the failure of the country to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
“You cannot come and say you have dissolved the team, No. You should dissolve yourself first because you are an insider,” Former Super Eagles assistant coach Amun told Sportsville on Channels TV.
“They say in Nigeria, nobody resigns. No. There must be a first time.
“We must be honourable enough some times to do certain things because Nigeria is bigger than any other person.”
Amun said he cannot understand why the LMC Chairman Shehu Dikko could not get players from the NPFL to be part of the Super Eagles for the past seven years.
Rather he said players who know how to eat candy and talk good English have dominated the national team.
