Baribote Hailed For ‘Very Robust’ Submission To Master Plan Committee

Former Chairman of the Nigeria League, Rumson Victor Baribote, has earned kudos from several quarters for his “very robust” submission to the Master Plan Committee charged with designing a 10-year development plan for Nigeria Football.

A top source informed www.insideglasshouse.com: “Baribote articulated his points very well in his very robust submission to the committee.

“He displayed a firm grip of the Nigeria Football laws as well as the present realities of the sport in the country.”

It was further gathered that the highlight of his presentation was for the five original members of the NFF – the State FAs, league clubs, referees, coaches and players – to be equally represented at the NFF Congress.

This will be a clear departure from the present arrangement where the State FAs dominate the Congress with 37 of the 44 members of the highest decision-making body of the country’s football.
