Federal High Court Adjourns Case Against NFF To March 22

The Federal High Court Yenagoa Division has adjourned a case brought by Seigha Obiene against the legality of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to March 22.

The court sat today in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Barrister Benjamin Ogbara , Counsel for the Patties seeking to join the case, informed the court that he has a pending motion for joinder by  Yahaya Adama and Harrison Jalla.

But Counsel for the respondents raised objection, claiming that they have filed a preliminary objection asking the court that they should not be joined.

However, lawyer to Seigha Obiene, the Claimant, Barrister Temedie Peter Great said he was not opposed to the parties seeking to join the case, rather he stated that their coming in will help assist the court in deciding the case judicially and judiciously.

Stating further, he said there are facts at the disposal of the persons seeking to join which were not with the first claimant.

After argument on the moved motion for joinder, the trial judge adjourned the case till March, 22nd. 2022 for ruling on the joinder and continuous hearing of the matter.
