Akinwunmi Lauds Master Plan Committee, Says Body Not Chasing Personal Agenda

NFF 1st Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi (PICTURED) has praised the enormous work by the Master Plan Committee charged with designing a 10-year development plan for Nigeria Football, saying the body is not charting a personal agenda as he was misled into believing.

Akinwunmi has recently drafted to the Master Plan Committee, which has resumed sitting in Abuja.

A top source told www.insideglasshouse.com: “Akinwunmi has been most impressed with the massive work being done by the committee.

“He even admitted that what he heard and was told about the committee was far from the truth as it was not set up to pursue a personal agenda.

“He said the committee is truly working for the betterment of Nigeria Football.”

Akinwunmi was nominated by NFF President Amaju Pinnick to replace busy General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi on the Master Plan Committee against the backdrop that the NFF leadership and other stakeholders have serious reservations about the body appointed by Sports Minister Sunday Dare.
