AFCON Jamboree: NFF Congress Delegates Fly Out

Members of the NFF Congress have at least got part of their demands to also enjoy the action at the AFCON in Cameroon as some of them will tomorrow fly out to Garoua to cheer the Super Eagles to victory against Egypt in an opening group game.

Two State FA Chairmen and an FA Secretary from each of the six geo-political zones will be on the special flight to Cameroon.

The flight will depart Lagos by 12 noon and fly out from Abuja to Cameroon by 3pm.

Some of the NFF Congress Delegates have already threatened war should they not be carried along to the AFCON.

However, they may have to return same day to Nigeria because of the accommodation crisis in the Northern Cameroonian town, which was further compounded by the poor preparation of the NFF secretariat towards this tournament.

The powerful FA Chairmen have therefore been warned they may have to make do with sub-standard hotel rooms in Cameroon.
