Sunshine Stars Confident In Wikki Tourists Walkover Saga

Sunshine Stars have expressed confidence they will be awarded the three points and three goals after their NPFL opening game against Wikki Tourists was not played.

The Akure club said they have LMC COO Salihu Abubakar on record that Wikki will be responsible for their extra hotel night.

But the Bauchi club failed to pay for the extra night and the hotel promptly ejected Sunshine Stars the following day.

It was further gathered that the match venue was also not available for the re-arranged tie.

LMC has postponed the match till further notice, while a decision on this game will now be taken by the NFF Disciplinary Committee.
