NFF Spin Another Fat Lie In National Assembly Over MTN Sponsorship Cash

The budget presentation of NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi before the honourable members of the National Assembly was riddled with lies after lies in a very desperate attempt to get more funding from the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Sanusi shamelessly told the law makers the NFF are yet to receive 250 Million Naira being sponsorship money from Super Eagles Official Communications partners MTN.

A fat lie!

The MTN sponsorship is 500 Million Naira a year as variously reported with fanfare at the unveiling in September in Lagos (PICTURED), which was graced by Sports Minister Sunday Dare.

So, what will become of the remaining 250 Million Naira in this deal not declared by the NFF?

A member of the National Assembly may well have seen through this lie after he directed during the presentation that the NFF must inform them when they eventually receive the cash from MTN, among other sponsors.
