Pressure Mounts On Soname Not To Expose LMC Top Shot Over Bet9ja Sponsorship Scandal

Serious pressure has been brought on the chairman of gaming company Bet9ja, Kunle Soname, not to reveal the top shot of the League Management Company (LMC), who demanded half of the money from the sponsorship package be paid into his account.

It was gathered by www.insideglasshouse.com that sources close to Soname said the owner of promoted Remo Stars was disgusted by the request of the LMC top shot and has even threatened that his company will pull out of the sponsorship deal as a result.

The scandal is now public knowledge and it comes on the heels of other allegations of corruption leveled against  this top official.

Top NFF officials have now reached out to Soname for him to sweep this scandal under the carpet.

The Bet9ja chieftain himself has reportedly demanded that the sponsorship deal with his company will only be should Davidson Owumi, who was involved in brokering it, resume as CEO of the LMC.

Owumi has been designated LMC CEO since last year by the NFF, but it is alleged that LMC Chairman Shehu Dikko has insisted the one-time striker will not join the company.
