Green, 12 FA Chairmen Meet Ahead Of NFF Polls
As the countdown to the September 2022 NFF Elections continues, it can be reported that former Chairman of the NFF Technical Committee, Chris Green, (PICTURED) has met with a dozen State FA Chairmen in Kano.
The Chairmen were drawn from the Northern geo-political regions, who will again play an important role in the polls.
Green, who is also Rivers FA Chairman and sole administrator of NPFL club Rivers United, is now emerging as a strong force ahead of next year’s polls.
It has already been reported that he could form a powerful political alliance with Zamfara FA boss and Chairman of Chairmen Ibrahim Gusau, who has indicated his willingness to lead the NFF come next year.
Gusau from the North West is understood to run for the NFF Presidency with Green from South South eyeing the Vice Presidency.
In his previous stint on the NFF Executive Committee, Green was a powerful and loyal ally of then President Aminu Maigari.
He oversaw the powerful NFF Technical Committee.
