Gusau Waxing Stronger In NFF Presidential Bid As He Mulls Chris Green As Vice-President

The countdown for next year’s NFF Elections has continued steadily with ‘Man of the People’ Ibrahim Gusau (PICTURED third left) making huge in-roads across the country in his bid to be the next President of the football federation.

And in his quest to build a bridge from the North across to the South, the Zamfara FA Chairman is understood to have penciled his Rivers State counterpart Chris Green as his Vice President.

www.insideglasshouse.com gathered that Gusau, who was widely believed to be the man who delivered Amaju Pinnick a second four-year term three years ago in Katsina, is clear about his ambition to now head Nigeria Football.

Checks have shown that he has bulk of his support from the North, but has most recently reached out to the South West, South South and South East with a high degree of success.

“He’s no longer a regional Lord,” a source infirmed www.insideglasshouse.com

“Gusau wishes to be a Pan-Nigerian candidate and so his forays into the South now.”

The Chairman of Chairmen was visible at the recent commissioning of the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan with several State FA chairmen from the North at his beck and call.
