CEO-Designate Owumi Demands LMC Detailed Financial Position

www.insideglasshouse.com has scooped that LMC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Davidson Owumi (PICTURED), has formally requested to be furnished with the actual financial standing of the company that runs the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

It was gathered that Owumi asked for a detailed financial position of the LMC as he gets set to assume office as ordered by NFF President Amaju Pinnick early last month.

His formal request was copied to both Sports Minister Sunday Dare and Pinnick.

www.insideglasshouse.com was further informed that Pinnick has acknowledged his own correspondence and subsequently directed LMC headed by Chairman Shehu Dikko to comply.

Owumi has asked to know the sponsorship agreements the LMC has entered into and that are still running, previous sponsorship commitments, prospective sponsors, outstanding sponsorship payments, debt profile among others.

The former NPL Chairman has yet to receive a response from the LMC even after he sent a reminder, it was further learnt.

It would be recalled that in December 2020, the NFF, who are the majority owners of the LMC,  announced they have endorsed the appointment of Owumi as new LMC CEO to replace Nduka Irabor, who had resigned several months earlier.
