PROJECT 2022- Impending Crisis Looms In Nigeria Football
The Brazen desperation of the Imperial Majesty of the NFF Amaju Pinnick 1, his 2nd Vice President Shehu Dikko and their co-travellers using the States Football Association Chairmen as their shield to maintain the status quo of a flawed NFF STATUTES 2010, whose Congress and Executive committee is dominated by one member ( States Football Association Chairmen), may lead to a protracted crisis soon.
The only way to avert this impending crisis is for the Federal Government through the office of the Honourable Minister of Sports and Youth Development to intervene now.
Because the footballers’ bloc is ready, able and willing to take on Pinnick and his gang head-on to salvage Nigeria football.
On August 8th 2021 in an illegal gathering in Benin City, Edo State, Pinnick and his co-travellers brazenly defied relevant provisions of the STATUTES 2010 and proceeded to inaugurate an illegal STATUTES Amendment Committee.
This is a move the PFAN Task Force on Project 2022 has declared dead on arrival.
The current NFF Congress and its Executive Committee lacks the moral standing to amend the current NFF STATUTES 2010.
The skewed STATUTES is only feasible to be amended by a football consultative assembly or a football stakeholders’ forum of eminent Nigerians for equity and fair play.
